Translation is a linguistic method by which it is possible to transmit thoughts and ideas from one language to another . Translation is ,to a great extent, a subjective art since it is extremely hard to find two translators producing the same output .It depends on the qualifications of a translator in terms of his sense of language , depth of vision and cultural background .
My dream is to be a successful translator as i adore translation very much .There are criteria for a good translation . A good translation is easily understood , fluent ,smooth and idiomatic. A good translation distinguishes between the metaphorical and the literal . It conveys ,as much as possible, the meaning of the original text.
Translator is always considered to be inferior to the author of the original text . He is "a writer who formulates ideas in words addressed to readers. The only difference between him and the original writer is that these ideas are the latter's ". While the author just creates ideas in his language, the translator has the responsibility of assimilating and reproducing the experiences of a different person .
There are some tips of translation. First read the text you want to translate more than once untill you get the overall meaning . Second start translating your text getting as close as possible to the meaning of the source language . Third make sure you are getting the appropriate vocabulary .Fourth go over the translation ,having the original text and the translation side by side ,making sure nothing is missed .Finally read the translation without looking at the original text making any necessary changes .
A successful translator should have some skills like : reading comprehension , researching skills , analytical skills and composing skills .
To sum up , translation is not an easy job . It demands hard work and wide culture . a translator is a talented person like an artist with a very good mentality .

comparison between education now and in the past ( final draft )
The educational system is a miror that reflects the culture . The educational system of one country isnot the same in another country ,not only it changes from one country to another it also changes in the one country during different periods of time .
Education in a short period of time was very different from education now.Perhaps we didnot study this vast amount of information that are studying now , but what we have studied remained firmly entrenched in our minds and time didnot erase it . In the past the teacher was very respected by students and their families . The threat of a parent that he would tell the teacher that his son did something wrong ,it was the greatest punishment for the student . I recall when we tell our parent that the teacher hit us , the parent punish us for the abuse to the teacher.I remembered when the teasher asks us to do a research , we go to the library ( that no longer has mentioned now) ,how we continue to look for information in books and references and how we benefit from the preparation of the research .
The student now and despite the development of curriculum and updated in line with the requirements of the time , become like a box filled with information and discharged on the answer paper of the exam , then it becomes completely empty . Also the spirit of competition among students losts from our schools . The intellectual student (who interact with the community ,politically and socially ) disappeared .
And not the defect in the educational system is caused by differing qualities of students only , but also inthe teacher . There is a deference between teacher now and in the past . While providing the latest training programs in modern teaching methods and improving their professional and well preparing in colleges of education , the teacher has lost a large part of his prestige and respect .
Now the relationship between teacher and student is very different from the past . The parent now goes to school to support his son and the teacher is forced to apologize to the student , where the prestige of the teacher is missed .
Is it missed by the routine and the administrative system ? or missed when the teacher himself was running behind a living out of breath behind private lessons , turning the profession from the holy message of the prophets to a way to earn a living , even at the expense of his dignity .
If we dealt with it on the other hand away from the student and the teacher , we find that despite the great technological development in recent years and increasing opportunites for student access to information through the means of various technology such as computers and the internet , we benefit much more than students now . The teacher assigned students to do a research in any subject , the student immediately go to the nearest computer and prints the search from the net without reading
it .

Youth immigration is one of the important cases that needs to be discussed as it is an argumentative matter . As one of the Egyptian youth, I am against our youth aimless immigration as it destroys our future .
If we talk about the causes that push youth to migrate , we must notice that poverty , unemployment and lack of employment opportunities are the main causes of youth immigration . In fact most university graduates face difficulty in finding a job nowadays .They complete their long studies in order to start a long journey in searching for a job and for a better life . They only find despair which leads them to think of immigration .
But not all our youth immigrants put these causes in consideration while thinking of immigration . As they only think of the benefits of immigration . They may go abroad for the purpose of education . Also they can do post graduate studies there . By traveling one can know a lot about customs, traditions of other countries . One can get in touch with people of other cultures , see different systems of life . Many of youth turns to traveling abroad to achieve themselves either by work or by study .
Although traveling abroad and immigration has many merits ,it has also some demerits . A large number of youth who migrate to foreign countries face a great failure as those travel without planning or thinking of what will they do there ?,where will they stay ? and which job will they have? they think that when they reach this country they will find everything they wants is possible and easy to catch . They think that they will achieve their dream of wealth , but the fact that they face hard troubles because they rarely find a job and even if they find a job , it is always a humiliated one which they can stand as no one knows them there .
Immigration also has two types , first there is a legal immigration and second there is an illegal immigration .We all know the legal immigration , but the illegal immigration is difficult to be determined according to its nature . The illegal migrants have different kinds as follows :
- Individuals who step in illegally without setting right their legal situation .
- Individuals who step in legally but they extend after the end of the allowed period .
- Individuals who work illegally during allowed accommodation.
For example , the view of invalid boats which are accumulated for migrants became a repeated scene as youth take some of these boats to Libya and then to Europe . So the numbers of drowned Egyptians in the Mediterranean Sea are increasing , during sneaking into Europe union countries . According to that the migrants youth are the victims in any case.
There is an opinion which sees that immigration provides youth with the opportunity to succeed as whatever they want is possible . The immigrant youth gain more from the cultures, thoughts and technology of the society they migrate to. They see the bright side of immigration .
There is another opinion which is against immigration at all ,who asks youth to wait for government posts or to find any job but in the homeland.
To sum up , in my opinion immigration is not bad in itself, but we must know what we will do abroad and be sure of our future there . If they will not be sure of that , they should stay in their homeland . They should not wait for the government posts ,but they should learn different professions to help them earn their living .To have your own business that has become a must that can not be ignored. these businesses may be a small factory , a small plot of cultivable land ,or a shop ....
But it is not a laughing matter as it needs patience , sleepless nights , perseverance and hard work.

Youth immigration is one of the important cases that needs to be discussed as it is an argumentative matter . As one of the Egyptian youth i am against our youth aimless immigration as it destroys our future .
